The First Hoisting of the Zhejiang Zhoushan Gas Turbine Project’s No. 2 Waste Heat Boiler Steel Structure Successfully Completed

On May 6th, the first hoisting of the Zhejiang Zhoushan gas turbine projects No. 2 waste heat boiler steel structure undertaken by CEEC-SEPCC has been successfully completed.



This project is located in the High tech Industrial Park of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is the world's most advanced H-class gas-fired 2*745 MW steam combined cycle power generation unit, the largest capacity gas-fired power generation unit under construction in China, and a key clean thermal power project under construction in Zhejiang Province during the 14th Five Year Plan period. The scope of construction for this project includes all civil engineering, procurement and supply of equipment and materials (except for the four main engines and general contracting procurement scope), construction engineering, installation engineering, commissioning, technical services, functional testing until acceptance and delivery for production, as well as the entire process of contracting services during the quality warranty period.


The total weight of the boiler steel structure columns lifted this time is about 33.2 tons, with a height of 34 meters and a width of 1.9 meters. To ensure the safe and efficient lifting of boiler steel frames, the project department has planned and coordinated in advance, and scientifically formulated construction plans. During the lifting operation, the construction team strictly followed the plan and operated accurately and orderly. With the steady operation of large mechanical equipment, the first steel column is accurately installed in place, firmly embedded in the base, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of subsequent boiler installation projects.


After the completion of the project, the annual power generation of the two units will be 5.054 billion kilowatt hours, and the annual gas consumption will be 902 million standard cubic meters, which can effectively improve the new energy consumption capacity, meet the balanced needs of the Zhoushan power grid, provide strong support for the stable operation of the Zhejiang power grid, and lay a solid foundation for promoting local social and economic development.
